Sony should have made the ultra wide zoom version first, for eg. 14-20mm, at a good price, so people would be more interested for this f/4.
This is only for those who have money for 1 lens only... and maybe filmmakers...
Now I want more the Sigma 28-70 f/2.8 for the price and quality and the compactness.

That has existed for a while with the Olympus 12-40 f2.8, 12-25 f4, or PanaLeica 12-60 f2.8-4. All light relatively speaking, all affordable used and easily found in great condition. An E-M1 mark ii/iii with the 12-45mm f4 or 12-60 f2.8-4 lets you keep dual card slots, insanely good ibis, great image quality, more compact, less weight, and a lot cheaper overall if it drops into a lake or something by accident.

Physics helps MFT be king at lightweight travel setups. I could bring a 75mm f1.8 extra and still be under the weight of the Sony body+lens if you go with the 12-45mm. A 24-90mm f4 and 150 f1.8 prime is a solid setup for travel.

I planned to get this as my only lens but I thought to want to shoot macro too so I will get the 70-200mm F4 macro OSS G II and in this case should I still get the 20-70 or just get the 16-35mm F4 G PZ which has power zoom that I can do the dolly effect and also use on gimbal? I want just one lens too and that 20-70 fit that we'll because of its quite ultra wide to quite tele but it won't give as same capabilities like these specialised lenses I listed, what do you think? I will get the A7RV too. I shoot as hobbyist and shoot with phone all my life, I think A7RV fit me well because of the 4 ways tilt screen and the good EVF, A7CR is lighter weight but the overall experience won't be as good and the smaller body give no benefit compare to the slightly larger A7RV and you still noticeable as a guy with a camera especially if it's not a pocketable camera. I also thought to get one of the cheap 0.95 50mm lens to experiment becuase I not a boleh person, I like my photos and video to have story and creativity instead of blur out the context, but I have some photos and videos idea that I can come in handy.

By the way, some people use less performance gear for everyday life but use fancy gears for travel and clients but not all client will notice the slight quality differences and everyday life is most parts of our life and isn't that make it important too and shouldn't discount out document of it?

And why should we put so much effort into photography and videography and also a lot things in life as well if a lot of them will lose in time and will not pass down later?
