This is so weird, I've been looking for a video like this and you've made one. So you mix the bag twice, I hadn't read anything about that yet. In your experience do you find it helps the process?

The timer starts on 12/21 and there is already traces of white in both bags.
Totally curious how long they sat after inoculation before you saw any activity and this Timelapse started!

It's so crazy watching the bacteria contaminant colonize and how the mycelium reacts to it. It's almost like a birds-eye view of an ancient battlefield.

Great vid! I notice the top of the bags on the right never really colonized. Is that an issue? Did you just scrape it off with a spoon before putting it into a tub?

first here! im on day 6 of my 2nd attempt at this. my first one developed green inside the bag so i made a still air box for my second attempt. fingers crossed!

What should be the humidity inside jars of grain in which the mycelium grows after being mixed with a spore suspension? It seems to me that your grains are a little dry. Is it possible to inject sterile water through a syringe? What if you add sugar and vitamins to the water? will this speed up growth?

Really siprised that the spore syringe bags fully colonized as fast as the agar one, must have been good genetics in yhe syringe. Love all your vids by the way, also have inflatable monotub and just did my first sucessful grow in it. Love the monotub as well, very handy.

my spawn bag at one week is showing very little growth can i inject it again

Thanks for this video. I'm trying to figure out if my slow growth is from poor spores or something else. Its the first try I have bought a jar with an inoculation port on top with dried corn inside and used about half a syringe to inoculate and didn't have a heat source for the first two weeks and it was probably 70f average sometimes cooler at night and I saw very little growth (which I learned was to be expected at that temp). Then I bought a heating mat and set it to 80f and I set the jar inside my monotube and the tub stays between 75 and 78f. It started to grow well then it seemed like it stagnated. Maybe I was just being impatient but I had less than ten percent growth approx 6-8% nice white mycelium. I shook it up and mixed it tonight. I noticed yours grew in about ten days' time after the second mix. I'd like to get that kind of growth what am I doing wrong or what can I do to get that nice growth within a month and a half. I started mine on Sept 8th it's Oct 14th.
