Idk why im choosing to ask here, complete newb with 2 grain bags colonizing right now. Took nearly 3 weeks to see any mycelium growth and in 2 days i see 50% colonization. How do i start fruiting conditions? I plan on putting the bag into a tub. Is RH and temperature very important ? Is it worth making an extra substrate for the colonized grain? some indirect sunlight ideal?

Would you shake a bag more than one time? I have an all-in-one bag that I shook up quite a bit and massaged and I feel like the spread and growth is good. But not universal. Do you think a second shake would hurt anything? I'm afraid to disrupt any solidity that's there, but maybe that's overly cautious

how do you get your mycelium to look like little dots mine just looks like its all together in a big one.
i used 5ml in a 1kg bag of grain through an injection port.
