This was so interesting. I didn't realize this was an agricultural need first and the electric power was just a happy secondary plus. I think the future of the green energy will look more at this type of power. There's power all around us, solar, thermal, hydro, wind, tidal, we just have to smart enough to harness it.

I flew over it in a plane, we were practicing 720s about 5000 feet above the dam, it was exhilarating. Knowing the size the dam gave you a perspective of just how high you were. It looked like it was about 6 inches long. Seeing it in person is a lot more impressive then watching it on video. If you're ever in the area, I recommend a look see.

That is a cool place I have been wanting to tour it and do the helicopter ride over it also.
