I was there to see that. They had to re-cement the overflow spillway after the water dropped, as the constant torrent of water wore off the original concrete lining.

That's crazy! The winter of 82/83, we had a VERY strong El Nino winter weather pattern, with MANY storms hitting the West, & Southwest. I was living in LA at the time, and it was raining sooo much that winter!!
But lately, we've been stuck in a stagnant La Nina weather pattern.

The first person killed building this dam was Patrick Lilley. The last man killed was named the same. Father and son

Well what you should have done in the first place and not share the water to other parts of the US and get rid of all the damn golf courses we don't need that in Nevada
