After a near perfect 3 months together, not so much as a cross word, deeply loving and intimate, she shut down emotionally to me one evening for no apparent reason. I went to see her 3 days later and very little had changed. Day 4 I ended the relationship and instinctively went what I now know to be no-contact, that just made sense in this case. I felt the only possible chance for us was if she had a major shock and was forced to face the complications of her behaviour. I have zero tolerance for that sort of nonsence, I suffered through a relationship with one of these people many years ago. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't take her back if she comes back (it's only been 3 weeks) because these people don't generally take responsibility and 'do the work' like the rest of us have to do. I'm here to learn more about these people so I avoid attracting the avoidant in the first place. Too painful.

She broke up with me and went with another guy. During the first month, she posted about her new relationship every day, so I blocked her on everything. It's been 60 days now, and I don't expect anything anymore.

He told me that he feels guilty that he left a girl who trusted him.. but he told ne once he decided that he don't want relationship, he will not return... Does this apply to me, when my wife of over 31 years together and she has told me she has fell out of love with me and has been talking and cheating on me for at least 3 years? I left the house to give her space and then my adult children finally go me to realize I wasn't accepting that she was doing more than flirting with other guys.

I seem to be in a strange situation. She broke up with after one little argument, and then began to text me immediately after. She continued looking at my stories and liking my posts. I didn't interact with her at all, basically went no contact without communicating it. Then I went to a concert she was at and she blocked me. Very confusing. Hi Brad. My Bf and i called it off last December in an amicable way. We are same sex couple, he was doubting and felt guilty that he liked women sexually. So basically he wanted to be straight again. And i moved on with my life for a month. But after 1 month and a half? He texted me, that he wanted me to be there for him. As a close friend. Now its June. And im struggling and i still love him.
