Thanks for the lesson on trees, a really good answer to question I asked in last video. I am trying to transition from someone who sees a picture snaps it and them move onto the next one. A tripod as well as providing stability slows me down, helps me to examine the scene in more detail and think about settings and storytelling.. The other thing i have found that helps me move on is using dog walks for walks rather than photography. Using it now to scout pictures and then revisiting on my own where I am able to concentrate on the task at hand.

A particular attribute of framing/composing is to pay attention to the frame edges. Too often I do not take the time to look for unnecessary and distracting intrusions. This usually can be repaired in post-processing but not always. This was a very helpful presentation Tom.

Looking down to notice the small things is a really good tip, so much so that these days I always bring my macro lens with me when I'm out photographing landscapes.

Another tip I'd mention is when out walking keep looking back behind you as otherwise you can miss out on some nice compositions.

Hey Tom - nice video - Use your cellphone to capture compositions before pulling out all that equipment - its a great device for
finding workable compositions. Thanks Tom

The main problem that I have.
Is my brain interprets. Colors differently than my camera.
Let me explain. For example I am coming from work and I see beautiful sky with deep oranges. Sun rays perfectly penetrating the this orange clouds. I am pulling over. Taking picture with my camera(Pixel XL, Pixel 4XL, Sigma SD15) with Raw and JPEG, coming home opening those pictures on IPS screen, but those colors that my eyes and brain saw are not in the picture. It is just some dull brownish clouds. I try to adjust the color I never can get it look like to what I saw.
