What do I do with the other 5 eggs?! 🥚

In Vietnam, we eat these eggs with white porridge. It’s mostly something that people eat when they’re sick or just want a small meal. I’ll try them with tomatoes later

“Spoon and Fork cuz I’m Filipino” growing up in America i thought using a spoon and fork was normal until I went to a restaurant that gave me only a knife and fork to eat with—I legit didn’t know how to cut my food with a knife until I was 11 😂

Saltee egg + tomatoes + calamansi + garlic + onion. I stayed in Cebu and that's how they did it. I was obsessed adding it to any fish.

i usually just eat salted duck eggs with white and i always leave most of the yolk part to be eaten on it's own at the very end, i'm obsessed with it 😭

I usually add soy sauce + spicy vinegar + raw red onions to the tomatoes and duck eggs for an extra zing!

heck yeah love this pairing! Also love it with seagrapes/lato, it really complements the eggs and tomatoes with the juicy briny-ness and the textured. Maybe you could also make dessert with it like a custard

I always eat this!!!! The whites are saltier than the yolk lol. And the yolk becomes a soft mushy texture.

It pairs well with rice alone. But i typically eat it with warm soups and some fried red onion. It also goes REALLY well with porridge. Very good, do reccomend if youre a sucker for salty foods.

In China, we used to eat it with plain paofan(leftover rice in hot water) as a "side dish" along with other side dishes, at least that's how my family eats in that part of china

I like eating it with hot porridge (with some soy sauce, sambal, & fried shallots) or something hearty like nasi kuning & nasi uduk!

Eat it with porridge

There are multiple ways we can use it. You can add as a filling for boas along with mince pork.
We can also add mashed raw salted eggs to mince pork and steam it (my favourite way of eating it).
You can also add as filling to moon cakes and lastly, you add it on top of congee.

Im Filipino as well. I add minced shallots and green onion for a sharp kick...sometimes those plus minced red thai chili, seeds removed of course so the heat is subtle.
