▶ Ingredients :
● 20 Countryside Duck Eggs
● 600g, Salt
● 200g, Sugar
● 1500ml, Water
▶Method :
1. Combine the water, salt and sugar in a pot. Stir until the sugar and salt are dissolved.
2. Stir until the sugar and salt are dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
3. In the meantime, rinse to ensure it's clean and drain the water. Then place the duck eggs in a sealable glass container.
4. Once the water is cool, pour over the duck eggs. Keep it at room temperature for up to 20 days.
5. For me, 18th Salted Duck Eggs is perfect. The longer the duck eggs keep, the more salty it will be.
6. Salted duck eggs are normally cooked before being peeled. Perfect with congee or an ingredient with other foods as a flavoring. Salted eggs can be stored in the refrigerator.
