What we need to do is find the Fountain of Youth for George so he can write 50 more books!

Its crazy that a man who, as a child, experienced very little of the world is able to so eloquently tell a story that varies its perspectives across a huge continent. Amazing.

George must get tired of answering the same questions over and over and over.  Every interview I've seen, he winds up going over the same points he already answered in every other interview. But he does a good job.

When he talks about the female characters frustrated by their position I suddenly realized that two of these (Cersei and Brienne) are an interesting pair.  Cersei despises Brienne, yet Brienne is exactly as Cersei wishes she could be.  Cersei laments that she is not a man, whereas Brienne does not allow that fact to prevent her from assuming the office of a man.  Cersei should admire her, but doesn't - maybe because she serves as a reminder of Cersei's own failure to be what she wishes.

love how he refused Hollywood corporate's but still ends up bringing his story to the screen probably better than Hollywood ever could

Sansa was doing the same thing huh.

I loved that part:
"Do you have a character that you favor?"
"Tyrion"
"Why"
"Because he's fun"
Exactly, well said George
