I love the fact that he can take a joke about himself.

I love the old computer and how slowly he is typing with one finger. Great he can joke about himself. XD

I like how he's typing at a speed of about 2 to 3 words per minute.

Be careful Stephen, there's a good chance he'll kill your character off.

And while you were waiting for that one monologue to be finished, he wrote four other monologues for different nights.

Omg, I take back every criticism I've ever made about Martin. He absolutely killed this bit.

A utterly surprising cold open. It’s great to that he has a great sense of humor when he’s the target

Get us there George, I have faith in you.

I’m sure Benioff and Weiss could deliver you a monologue really quickly.

I’d love to see the rest of that bit! They cut it too soon! And I effing ❤️ the fact that Martin can take a joke about himself, his slow work, and the fact that when he’s on deadline he produces vast amounts of it. Mind you it’s not relevant to the job at hand… but still Effing hilarious!!!

For Stephen (or his staff) to think up this joke (who want to see a show set 200 years before the show they thought they were watching), to selling the idea to GRRM, while simultaniously taking a crack at him for not writing very fast... Is brilliant... And GRRM going along with it is just epic 😂😂

Lord Stephen of House Colbert, sounds like the name of a main character that is likely to be killed off in the finale episode

'You'd be surprised."

I was indeed. Really enjoyed House of the Dragon.

The monologue ends with Stephen going crazy torching the studio. And afterwards all the execs come together and when deciding to pick a new host they all ask each other: Who has the best story?

As long as the monologue doesn't end with Stephen inexplicably losing his mind because someone rings a bell.
