The flamboyant cuttlefish is the most dangerous cuttlefish in the world.
This little animal / creature / fish / underwater animal cannot stop changing colors / flashing colors for the whole life.
Unlike many of their cousins, the flamboyant cuttlefish cannot swim freely, for the whole life.
But it trades the ability to swim for something more amazing.
It is also one of the weirdest / strangest cuttlefish in the world.

The tropical shallow Indo-Pacific waters off northern Australia, southern New Guinea, as well as numerous islands of the Indonesia,
Philippines and Malaysia are well known for the beautiful coral reefs.
These are some of the most diverse ecosystems in the world.
Because of the diversity of life found in the habitats created by corals, reefs are often called the "rainforests of the sea."
About 25% of the ocean's fish depend on healthy coral reefs.
Fishes and other organisms shelter, find food, reproduce, and rear their young in the many nooks and crannies formed by corals.
Along these reefs, there is a creature that is hard to identify at first glance.
It is the cute / amazing / colorful / beautiful flamboyant cuttlefish.

I love cephalopods. My favorite is the flamboyant cuttlefish. The way it uses its little arms to make little feet and walks around when it hunts lol its so colorful and beautiful and cute when it walks about.

I love to bump into these fascinating little buggers on my dives. I knew the flamboyant cuttlefish was toxic but had no clue that its venom was as potent as the blue-ringed octopus.

I plainly have fallen in love with cephalopods, thank you for posting this footage! They are truly beautiful beings 🐙 ❤

They're _venomous_, not poisonous. Remember: Venom comes from bites or stings. Poison comes from ingestion. For example, you can eat a venomous rattlesnake (just not the venom sacs) but not a puffer fish.

Plot twist: cuttlefish isn't using a sticky appendage to catch stuff. He is actually giving a d slap and then using it to lasso the unconscious prey.

Love the opening shots where the arms mimic a sea pig and the rear looks like a rock or an urchin. Brilliant

Follow the general rule, the more colorful and flamboyant an animal is, the more dangerous it is. Especially with insects and fish

Wow, huh? Think of the computational ability to produce such a display. And these critters are hatched with these abilities. Heard that cephalopods are considered by some to be self-aware by some. With all of that computational power that they are hatched with, maybe that is true?

Are they poisonous, like cane toads, or venomous?
