70s Radio Hits on Vinyl Records (Part 6)

We are releasing this sixth episode of our 70s Radio Hits series just as the channel is poised to reach 40,000 subscribers and 7.7 million views. Our extreme appreciation and gratitude goes to all of you out there who have brought us into your lives and made this possible.

This installment of 70s Radio features songs all from the last five years of the decade with a heavy focus on 1978 and 1979. The mix of styles is interesting because the diversity of Pop music from this era was stunning. You can still hear the Bubblegum and Classic Rock influences from years earlier along with the Funk, Disco and New Wave rhythms that were freshly bursting in from the clubs into the mainstream.

Im 61 and still grooving on these tunes cause there's nothing like it, when compared to a lot of noise, filthy language, and content that our kids are listening to, singing words the meaning of they have no clue. My generation had music that meant something. Thank you. I enjoy your style.

My teens started in 1962, just in time for the Beatles and the British invasion which inspired me to join a band and went abroad playing in military bases around Asia and ended my band years in Tokyo where I left the band to join the US military in 1973.... I will never forget those years and thanks to YouTube I continue to enjoy my favorite music now at 75 years old...
