70s Radio Hits on Vinyl Records (Part 3)

This video is the third and final (for now) show covering the radio Top 40 hits of the 1970s. In this episode, Z-Bear highlights songs with a distinctive boogie or funk base. Most of these are not officially considered Disco though the influence of the genre is definitely easy to hear in these songs.

Enjoy the trip back to the era of Saturday Night Fever and bell bottoms. As always, mahalo for watching!

Transister radio, platform shoes, bell bottom pants, long hair, polyester shirts, no smart phones, Wi-Fi, internet. Simple days. Fond memories.

Driving a 69 Camero listening to the radio was a good time. I surely didn't think about being a grandfather and listening on my phone. Mind blowing

Graduated High School in 77 so these were the songs of my life. The memories of my childhood and beyond brought me back to my high school sweetheart and first job at Burger King. HS football games, girls, band geek memories, being the designated driver because I had a car, “T. Peeing” my friends homes, and the music. Damn, we sure picked the right time to grow up. Normal times with no cellphones, no fictional genders, celebrating our flag, no political nonsense to contend with, just grow up and get along. Can we go back to those times, PLEASE!

Graduated in 75, was a young kid who joined the Navy. Now I'm this broken down old Man. But, for a while, just a little while, you've brought a smile to this old face and a warm heart remembering those days. I have congenital heart disease and don't know how much time I have left, so, Thank you and mahala.

Born in 60, so these tunes are all in my wheelhouse. I am absolutely amazed that a young lady like you has all these old school 45s. Thanks so much for taking me back to the 70's. If we could time travel back to those days, I'd be gone in a minute. ❤

A great big yes to those wonderful days of no cellphones, internet and all that stuff. We actually had to communicate in person or on the telephone! Imagine that! I'm so stuck in the 70's . So much fun then and we were a safe country!

I’m 63, and I listen to this music everyday! I was a teenager in the 70s. Great time to be alive!

Das ist so wie früher. Damals wurde alles von Vinyl abgespielt. Das ist schön. Ich mag diese alten Hits viel lieber als die aktuellen Hits.

Wow. I was born in 1974. I lost my Mama 2 years ago. I play these 70s tracks and instantly I go back in time, mama cooking and me playing with Barbie dolls. All of it floods back in with each song. Ty, truly from the bottom of my heart. She played all these, or had the radio playing them. To be able to go back and remember things. Without the music I would never remember. I simply cant thank you enough. I cant wait to explore the 60s and all the others. She truly gave me the love of all music very early in my life. ❤

Glad to see a young person who can appreciate the timeless classic music that formed a generation.
