Thanks for jamming in high quality information into concise videos. Too many nutrition people on YouTube post 30-45 min video and just repeat themselves over and over. There’s a place for that, sure, I guess. But this info-packed 5-8 min video format of yours is exactly the science backed information I’m looking for. Thank you!

Good day Autumn… I was having collagen powder with my fasting mimicking coffee and it kicked me out of ketosis, after many days I observed this and cut it out. Now I have it at meal time and it’s working out great for me. Thank you for the video, have a great week Autumn. 👍😘🇨🇦🍁🍁🍁🍁

Collagen actually made my gray hair turn darker. Almost back to my normal color. Crazy.

4 scoops of collagen, 1 cup of frozen strawberries, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter with 1.5 cups of almond milk makes a great meal replacement

I shattered my shoulder a few years ago (I was 68) and the pieces of my humorous whilst split were still pretty much in place. My arm was strapped to my side and I ate normally, a bit more cheese than usual, had collagen peptides ( 1 scoop a day) and Curcumin every day while the hospital monitored the healing. The surgeon who monitored my six weeks healing every 10 days (out patient) was shocked as to how quickly my shoulder humorous ball pulled itself back together and healed. After 6 weeks I had a few physio sessions and kept up the exercises after that. The human body sometimes just needs a little assistance. Oh, my nails grew faster and my hair thickened too.

Thank you so much. I jst found you last night. I sure wish I had you around when my daughter was still alive. She was quadriplegic & I literally had to feed her every meal from the time she was) 3 & a half to 12 yrs. (well technically her entire life). What I mean is that she was born perfectly normal but later started losing motor skills. Was then unable to feed herself. (Long story). Then passed away suddenly on Christmas morning when she was only 12. It was very hard for me to feed her & I sure wish I had someone like you back then. People & Doctor’s alike told me they were amazed at how healthy & clean she looked & her hair was beautiful & she was so pretty & always smiling.😁 That makes & made me happy but I see now that I cld have done much more. I blended a lot of her food up & did the best with the knowledge I had bk then. “So says my husband & everyone who knew us then.” I suppose they are right but I see now, things that I wish I had known then. Anyway, she went to Heaven suddenly Christmas morning 1995 & is getting to dance & eat at the Master’s table & that gives me comfort. I just wanted to tell you that I fully see now just how much you & other nutritionist are needed & yr knowledge can bless us all if explained the right manner. Where even a lay person like me can comprehend it. Ive been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes jst as I have turned the big 60.🤦🏻‍♀️ I need to lose some weight now & need collogen but not quite sure of how much & how to get it absorbed correctly. I tell ya, getting old is not for Sissy’s. I feel sluggish all the time & have started having a defeatist attitude & was just looking for the right supplements. When I found you & this powdered collagen. Again, thank you for sharing yr knowledge with us & making it all understandable. Bless you & all that you do!

I've been using collagen for around 4 years. At my age which is almost 74, everyone I know uses it mainly for their joints.
I add it to coffee once a day along with MCT powder, mushroom coffee and cream. We have 4 different collagen powders...alternating
them. I never thought of it as a substitute for a protein meal. BUT I do thank you for your information.
PS this is Pam.

For two days this week I've done this: 2 scoops of Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides (chocolate) and 1 serving of whatever Greek yogurt (170g of Fage for me), mix that together until you get a pudding consistency. I'm doing this for breakfast two days after my ARX workout to keep a steady stream of aminos to repair muscle damage. Thoughts?

Thanks for the informative video! There aren’t many that talk about what you’re addressing - the right way to benefit from the collagen.
So I should be using it with Greek yogurt, or could I also throw it in a blender with almond milk and the Greek yogurt.

You’re basically saying don’t use it by itself - for that ruins how it’s supposed to help you?
Sorry for all the questions but thank you for the info!

I can't believe a clinical nutritionist is basically saying that you have to get complete proteins each time you eat protein, in order for it to "count." The idea that incomplete proteins need to be combined at each meal to create a complete protein has been completely debunked a long time ago. The body in its infinite wisdom will create complete proteins *over the course of a day or few days even*. They do not need to be complete at each meal.

So you can continue using collagen protein powder to add to your overall protein intake and your body will do the rest and you will be fine building muscle.

Anytime someone is selling something, you have to be leery. She sells a complete protein powder so it benefits her to to make it seem like collagen protein powder is somehow lacking. A Google search of "do you need to combine incomplete proteins at each meal" will show the facts around this.

Haha my mom was just telling me to take collagen this morning. She's been taking it in the morning to help her joints and hair I think. So you posting this today was great timing lol thanks for the additional info! I'll send her this video

So is it bad to have collagen with morning coffee as depicted in the cover illustration? I understand achieving benefits from adding it to high protein meals and not using collagen as a protein substitute but for me it's a habit to use it in coffee to guarantee that I get a daily dose.

I have collagen in my coffee every morning but I also have that with a high protein breakfast. I never once thought about substituting protein with the collagen.

Autumn, I cannot even begin to tell you how much I am LOVING your channel. The content you are creating is brief and to the point, highly educational, extremely helpful, inspiring, motivating . . . and a whole lotta fun to watch. Keep it up, girl. We need correct nutrition information that isn't riddled with long, "scientific" words *cough* DeLaur *cough*. Plus, you're so cheerful and cute!
