for anybody who might see this after watching this particular short:
He is talking about the idea of needing challenge and progress in life, not championing the concept of living in a constant state of overwhelm.

Without a sense of progression, life is truly meaningless. But dont let that be misconstrued with the glorification of suffering, or that life is not about balance.
Get out there and push yourself, just take care you dont fall over any more than you have to. Thats how you cover the most distance.

I've heard life called many things but never "easy". Life itself is difficult and we're all doing that every day so long as we choose to continue living.

When you don’t look for things that are difficult. You’ll make difficulties up in your head.

Whilst I do not agree with much of what Peterson says I am firmly of the opinion that the world is much better off with Peterson out there. The man cares.

Jordan is absolutely right about that. The only thing I would disagree with is that it's a shame. I think it's worse it is misery and misery loves company and you will drag your friends or family into that place -that's something I do not wish on anybody.
