Nice video man id like to add to this regarding the blue led flashing. Have fibre in the house. A flashing blue can also mean an unregistered modem device. To test - pull out the coax or fibre with the unit on. If it goes red then outside connection to the home is ok, put back in it should pickup and steady again as white. Now I had a situation where it remained flashing blue @ startup for many hours during the night with no internet connection available. Checked it in the morn and same issue. Did restart / factory reset /power up+down many times and still nothing. Went online to check area - internet - all green. It appears that the device did not register on the virgin side correctly possibly after an update through the night / maintenance early that day / somebody simply left a switch off. If I had to guess amazingly it came back on @ 9am probably when the tech's arrived for work that morning. Sometimes its the case where the modem itself needs to be changed. So that's the blue led story.

Thanks, this is helpful. I thought i had a yellow light, but it’s green. Upon looking online, older hubs would have yellow lights to indicate faults so i was concerned about mine. Looks like a hub 5 has no yellow light.

I’ve recently got Virgin Gigabit Broadband was meant to be sent a hub 5 but was sent a hub 4

Hi. I need to buy a longer cable as mine is too short. Could you tell me what the white cable is called in the back of the router to the virgin box on the wall. Looks like a tv cable? Thanks.

My Hub 5 keeps flashing yellow every time I factory reset it and then goes to white. Nothing seems wrong. I just don't understand what the yellow light is for if there are no issues. What's weird is it doesn't flash yellow every time I reset it. Do you know what this is? I can't find anything about it online. Thanks.

The white light still blinking, when check in the wifi connection, it is showing as wifi connected but no data connection

In router mode it will be a constant green light. I put the hub in this mode to use with a mesh wifi setup, as the hubs wifi is useless!

The loudspeaker pictured in this clip can cause serious problems for the Hub 5, just place a compass between them and move the speaker. Move them much further apart and see the difference in your conectivity to the internet especially the ethernet conections. I struggled for over a month with serious muti-daily intermittant conectivity. No problem since using a compass to part interferring devices. Please drop a short comment if this tip helps solve your problem.

I'm not with Virgin but I'm with another internet provider and my neighbours upstairs in the top flat have hacked into my router. And everytime I ask Alexa to do something somebody upstairs is keep turning my devices off . how do I get over this problem full stop no matter how many times I change the password they still managed to get in?

My hub5 is just flashing blue and even after connecting devices to it the WiFi doesn’t work even after connected to the WiFi and it’s just flashing blue
