Virgin Media Hub 5 Installation and change Hub 5 WiFi Network Name and change Hub 5 WiFi Password.
In this video I will show you how to install the Virgin Media Hub 5 and then change the Virgin Media Hub 5 Network WiFi name and then also change the Virgin Media Hub 5 WiFi password.
First we will uninstall the Hub3 before we install and setup the Virgin Media Hub 5 super fast box.
Virgin Media Hub 5 unboxing and installing Virgin Media Hub 5 Setup is fairly straightforward.
Once logged in this then gives you access to Virgin Hub 5 Settings.

The Hub 5 dimensions are : It’s 4.5cm wide, 19cm deep (without cables), 24.5cm high.

Brilliant Sir. Thank you so much. Just one important question. I have 5G and 2.4G dual because some of the devices (bulbs dimmer) use 2.4Ghz and won't connect to 5Ghz. Is there an option to choose dual signal Wi-Fi going simultaneously?
I have opted to go for the Hub5 after complaining to Virgin that the previous one is too sluggish and not giving a full range. They will give me additional pods also.
Tell me is the signal better? Is it more stable? Did you use the Pods to boost the signal?

Hi good information on the hub 5 which I just been sent with virgin but I'm having problems with the WiFi password on some of my other devices mostly Alexa some of my Alexander long in OK but others keep say password incorrect. But it is the correct password I've pressed the reset button and still the same issue have you any ideas as to what's causing the issue I've phoned virgin that said done a reset at their end but still the same problem

Great video Lurges. I have a virgin hub 5, but my wireless signals are greyed out, so I cannot enable or disable 2.4 or 5ghz. Any ideas? As been trying to fix this for a while. I spoke to Virgin and they weren't very helpful. Hope you can help. Thank you

When I upgrade I just re-mame the WiFi Name and Password to the same as the previous hub so I dont have to go round all wifi devices reconnecting them as they continue to connect automatically as they did

Good video mate but question I have a hub 3.0 atm but I might get hub 5.0 but i need to know if vpns work with 5.0 because I had a vpn and it wasn't compitable because of my router, if you know would be great thanks.
