Superhub 5 and port forwarding. Is this possible? If not I will not be changing router. I have seen people on Virgin community forum saying it does not work. Not much point changing if that is true.

What to know is ipv6 enabled for the hub5 . Also you able to multi modem mode / router so I can have an existing router piggy back of it old hub 3 just modem or router.

Mine arrived today. Absolutely pain free process of swapping it out.
I used a UniFi WAP with my Hub 3 and I just plugged that back in though so I haven’t had a chance to test the WiFi yet.

I have a SH4, I'd love to upgrade to 1G but I'd also like the 2.5G port since VM actually provisions 1G at 1130 and if you've got gigabit lan you're probably going to get something like 950mbit. They don't even offer me gigabit as an upgrade option when I login though, despite it being available everywhere on their network.

I set up my Hub 5 and it didn’t seem any better than the Hub 3 was. Even with WiFi 6 enabled devices. I’m on M200 but in the room next door I was only getting 45Mbps which dropped to around 6Mbps if I went upstairs. Quickly switched it to modem only mode and plugged my ASUS RT-AC86U router back in so that I can get around 180Mbps to 220Mbps throughout the house.

I’ve been told that I’m having another hub delivered because they’ve doubled my Wi-Fi via cold and and my current (3) hub isn’t enough.
I wonder if I’ll get the 4 or 5 hub?

Well my gf was offered it at 35 pound one of charge even tho ahe has been with virgin media over 6yrs we went for 1gig boardband but when i look online it says people who are on the super hub 3 get afree upgrade so why was virgin saying she could have it but they wanted 35pound upfront

It's still only on trial, and only in selected areas. There's no release date. This according to Virgin Media executive department. Media hype gone mad - again!

I have been complaining for weeks about poor WiFi / router to VM, especially when using WiFi upstairs. My hub 2 was fine. Hub 3 awful. VM kept saying there’s nothing wrong then all of a sudden I get an email saying I can have a free upgrade to a hub 5 to improve WiFi! They wouldn’t give me a hub 4 when I complained as I wasn’t a on the top broadband. Just hoping this hub 5 will be the answer to our poor wifi when it arrives next week

My wifi on 5G should be 200mbps
and on all my devices it reaches that speed but on my Xbox the mbps is called at 27mbps even though it says 100% wireless signal strength and 0% packet loss

got an offer for this, only have 200mbps. won't be taking it after reading some comments, that they have had issues. reliability > slight increase in performance. i'll let you lot test this out first, then i'll upgrade when i need to
