Awesome tutorial, clear concise and no fluff. I was having a real problem with importing to unreal and facing the right direction. You are a life saver thanks. Keep up the good work.

Will i have any issues if i exported some of my meshes (world partition parts with terrain and static objects) from blender to UE5 having UP axis as Y when exporting? right now i don't have any issues, meshes are oriented as they should on the scene.

Thank you for the video; the content is on point.
Could you make a video on how to pull out models from video games correctly next? like unreal engine games for example.

i have 2 issues.

1. importing a car that has a body and 4 wheels parented to each other, no armature in blender - models import Ok, but they are way too big. Also, they import as 5 separate objects, is that normal?

2. if I create an armature using the UE4 vehicle rigger in blender, then export to fbx and import to unreal, it imports everything except for the body mesh, that is missing. The mesh is in the FBX because I can import it back to blender fine. So why does unreal not import it?

You missed de-selecting "add leaf bones". Keeping that setting on will give you trouble with the UE skeleton.

That's wrong, your copying previous videos, you need to be settings the Armature Settings too for the Bone Orientations
