I been using steam version of blender for a year now. I haven't had any issues with it so far other than the auto update and it breaks my plugins, but i have it locked to whatever version i want, right now 4.2. I like how i can track my hours with it, lol.

@Pitchfork Academy (MizzoFrizzo & Co.) - why you are not using Live Link from Blender to Unreal Engine? Isn't that working that live link for UE5??

So how is this method with fbx is better than USD import pipline with actual plugin for Unreal? here it seems to be much more clumsy and many steps/actions needed more than with USD export-import.. Maybe i missed something Ill appreciate if someone can tell me why should I prefer fbx import-export over the USD import-export? And as for the moment - what about the more complex materials, all the roughness height maps etc' ? There is still no solution for that I guess..? unreal dont have the datasmith available for blender users just yet..
