If you've ever seen Star Wars, you know that the storm troopers look the coolest. George Lucas even said that Star Wars is taken off WWI and WWII. That's where "Stormtrooper" comes from.

Fun fact about the German army in WWI: Bavaria had it's own army with the Bavarian king as supreme commander in times of peace. Only it times of war, the Bavarian army was placed under the command of the Emperor.
