Best all around leg builder imo. You’re not going deep enough though, you’re actually supposed to melt into the ground at the bottom of the movement.

The way you are doing are targeting more on the glutes, just to keep your feet underneath the bar or just step slightly forward in order to target more quads

I’ve never seen anyone squat with their legs so close together, I’m so jealous cos Mike have to be slightly wider than shoulder width for me to even attempt going that low

If you don’t have a Smith machine as well put 20-40% less weight than your normal squat weight and elevate your heels (can be with plates, piece, etc), then squat as deep as you can (heels elevated will get you a deeper squat). Quad killer worth trying
