By the way, comrade Sergei, I had an unrelated question about the ushanka caps.

I recently purchased a vintage Soviet ushanka from Ukraine, and it is amazingly warm and comfortable. The smell is also very unique and appealing, giving off a vintage vibe. If my knowledge is accurate, are these vintage Soviet ushankas normally made from sheep fur, or is it from the fur of any other animals?
