Has removing the statue fixed any perceived racism? Asking for a friend.

The historian is confused why people would leave a time capsule without an open date, just forever ?
he ever hear of pyramids and obelisks ?

Let’s just hope everyone is truthful and nothing gets manipulated. Like a lot of history is this far.

Nick Cage was there first. He has to find the treasure and stop the Nazis from blowing up The statue of liberty.

“Shed light on what people were thinking in the late 19th century”… ?? Do we need the contents of a time capsule for that?

Lee integrated his forces, whilst the Union forces were segregated.

His was a statue that should have been saved

If you think Lee stood for slavery then you should do some research on the man, you'll come away with a much different opinion of him.

There’s probably some kind of symbolism behind the message being delivered here.

I'm sure the "woke" crowd will try to cancel it, even though it's part of our history and deserves to be remembered.

Saying that statue represents racism and hate is like saying Martin Luther King's statue also represents racism and hate. Depends on who's saying it I guess.
