Amen, We are to do this in remembrance of Him, there is no literal flesh and blood to eat and drink. Many disciples fell away because of this, but Jesus goes on to say - John 6:63 “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.” In other words, we are made alive by eating His word and the drinking in of His Spirit, imbibe Him. He was the WORD made flesh, and we worship in spirit and in truth.

Communion, Jesus said do this in remembrance of Me He did not say My presence is in the catholic eucharist . I think many protestant are not Botn Again just religious . I never got involved in any denomination and i always separated the chicken from the bone . The Holy Spirit leads us into all truth that is what i depended on for 30+ years and the Living Savior Jesus Christ is my Lord of life . I remember i used to listen sometimes to a Billy Graham crusade, but it had no impact on me now i know why .

Amen brother White. John chapter 6 is not even about the “last supper.” That comes way later in the book. We need to read the whole chapter. Jesus Christ had just finished a miracle of changing five barley loaves and two small fishes and feeding five thousand. John 6: 9-13. Then the people said, Lord, evermore give us this bread. Verse 35: And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. These are spiritual words. Yes, there is your eating and drinking. I love verse 29 also: Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. Keep standing on God’s words in the King James Bible!

You have to remember Christ told them to remember his last supper in Scripture not his church. How many denominations do as Christ commands, not many from my experience
