Let’s get moving! If you need a break from your desk, help getting started with regular exercise, or just a few extra steps in your day, this one mile walk can help boost your mood and motivation and help keep you moving forward towards your goals. Please join me for the latest installment of our "1-Mile Walk n' Talk" series — today I thought we could talk about the incredible power of showing up and taking action.

“Master the art of showing up.” - James Clear

This informal, indoor walking-plus-low-impact-aerobics session is the approximate equivalent to one mile outside. Just push play to get your steps in, walk off a stressful day and reset your mindset with a dose of inspiration and movement that you can do anytime - rain or shine!

Don’t forget to share your best tips with us in the video comments below! And, we're always looking for more topics to talk about, so please let us know - what else should we walk n' talk about? We love reading your comments so please share your great ideas and suggestions with us.

Thanks for walking and talking with me today! :-)

*Special courses, such as our "Lift and Shift" strength-training intensive, not included

Connect with us after the workout for more fitness, tips, motivation and more!

Jessica, you have been my trainer and friend for almost a decade. There is so much truth in your quotes, and so much motivation in all the exercises you invite us to practice. Thank you!

Thank you for this short, but much needed video. I have osteoporosis and arthritis and sometimes my body just needs something simple when it is aching. I love all your workouts and your calming presence. Thank you!

Jessica, your positive energy is I ALWAYS feel more positive about my body and my accomplished efforts when I exercise with you! After my hysterectomy a year ago I gained 30 pounds. I need to be more consistent on dropping sugar and eating more naturally. I'm on my way!!!

You are fantastic -- I am managing a new autoimmune disorder and I am discouraged I can't do what I used to do. But your walks always make me feel grateful and alive, so thank you!

Thank YOU Jessica!!! I discovered you about 5 years ago, I'm 68 and love your videos!! You help me almost daily to keep moving since total retirement and trying to stay busy. I start my day off with you and love looking through all your videos for the perfect one for me for that day! I have saved soooo many of your vids!! :). Thanks for your constant inspiration and care for your audience... :)

Jessica, you are the best thing that I discovered in the Pandemic, I still join you at least 4 times a week.
Loving your new YouTube sessions.
For years I have punished myself for not being fast enough, strong enough, fit enough and you have made me realise at
the age of 66 that my body has limitations (arthritis) and I now appreciate what I can do and be grateful to KEEP MOVING.
THANK YOU.

This has been one of my favourite of your Walk & Talk series and I definitely used it for my self-talk of “something is better than nothing” today as I listened to my mind & body. It was exactly what I needed after a hefty workout week.

Thanks for helping me get back on track for 2023. I attended a friend's 60th birthday last week (and I will be turning the big 6-0 myself in 3 months) and realized how I need to start moving again - even for 15-20 min a day. You truly make it so easy to return to a healthier lifestyle. Not a resolution - more of a commitment to my own self for myself and in the end for others.

I've been gone for a while - getting lost in the nonsense of life - but I'm back now!! Recovering from surgery and the doctor said I need to walk to help in my recovery!! So here I am starting gentle!! Thank you, Jessica!!

Thank you for these 1 mile Walk and Talk. I love your enthusiasm and always the quotes that are so spot on. I am recovering from several surgeries last year, the biggest spinal fusion. I'm still having some pain in my back and know that I must strengthen my body so I can do the things I love to do, like take my dog for a nice long walk if Spring ever gets here! I just finished this exercise and made it to the end without having to sit or rest for a minute. I will be back tomorrow for another one!

I am dependent on your 15 minute videos right now. Working full time as a nurse in a unit where we have different start times everyday ranging from 3:30am to 8:30am. I am also working on my Master's in Public Health Nursing. Not having the pressure to find 30-60 minutes for a workout has helped keep some of my stress away. Thank you!

Your 1-Mile Walk and Talks are my favorites! I usually bike ride from 5 to 10 miles a few times a week, but your videos provide that extra variety of movement that I need to keep things flexible. I hope to keep my 74-years-young body moving for another decade or two.

After a long hiatus due to some health concerns I am back! Down nearly 20 lbs and slowly building my stamina and health back up. Thanks for your array of videos so that I can find one that matches my bodies needs each day ❤
