Power Your PC On With A Screwdriver
PC wont turn on? quickly check whether your power button is broken by bypassing the power switch on the case by using a screwdriver to jump two pin on the front panel connector on motherboard, the pin is Power SW which stands for power switch. Well it’s Dec22 and my 9 year old wasted a glass of milk on his desktop when all his Christmas gifts were for the pc. I cleaned all the components and still no life when I turn the power on. I would have never considered the issue to be the jumper for the switch itself but by using this tip I narrowed down the last issue to a blocked jumper cable. This vide literally saved my family’s Christmas.

could swap out the reset switch for the power still a switch

I to jump if after watching this video and i just had the wires in the wrong spot because it wouldn’t just and I thought… that’s weird, I just jumped or about 5 times. When you showed the 2 points of contact is all you needed to jump it, then I narrowed it to the one I had power plugged into… I pulled off the power then tested it…. I got nothing.. that’s weird.. or maybe I’m plugged into the wrong spot.. I moved it and sure enough.. had the wrong area connected…
