Pectus Excavatum Nuss Procedure: Right After Surgery

This is right after my surgery and 2 hours after my surgery. Sorry if you can't understand me, I was pretty high on some serious drugs.

I had mine done 3 weeks ago, I feel absolutely great now, only get a little bit of irritation where the scars are when I wake up in the mornings but when I get up it goes away, I would definitely recommend this procedure to anyone with pectus. I feel so much better now because for the first time in my life I have a normal good heart rate and full lung capacity and it feels great. I know it is scary thinking about the operation but I promise you it is over in an instant it's like you go to sleep and wake up a second later and the operation is done by the best of the best professionals so I promise you there is nothing to worry about! Not to mention I look times better as well I don't have to be self conscious anymore, I think that is probably the best part about the entire thing! i just had this surgery 2 weeks ago. i felt almost exactly like him. not too much pain, and lots of pressure, like an elephant on your chest. I'm very happy with the result. Worth it, no doubt about it. It will feel impossible to move, until you do. You'll already will be feeling better after you get sat up in a chair. the day you go home, just get some rest. The next week start taking walks, and get used to the bar/strap in your chest because it will be there for 6 month to 2 years.

Dude, don't even worry about it. I was really scared in the pre-op room. You're gonna be scared, but you don't even have to worry. They'll do such a good job and you'll be happy you did it.

Don't even worry about it. It's worth it. Don't be scared, I was really scared too and honestly you're on so many painkillers that you'll barely even feel it. You won't be comfortable when sleeping for two weeks, but after that, you're basically healed.

I am getting it next month ...I am just doing it for my personal self image ....everyone mocks my health and poor posture ...I wanna show them who's the boss ...once I get this and recover within 2 or 5months ...I will start the gym ...I have an solid height and physique but this pectus excavatum hurts man ...I don't get the confidence to remove my shirt in public spaces ...😢...but after this I will live an different life 👍👍💪💪💪💪

It's only after you leave the hospital it starts to hurt. The scariest part was going to sleep, but when you wake up it's not really that bad on morphine.
