GW2 is on sale until the end of the year for $15 from Amazon and other sites for both expansions. Of course the base game is free but for $15 you'll easily get 100s of hours of gameplay if not 1000s and the next expac is in February.

I've never to this day been able to go back to an mmo after taking more than a few years off. All of these get so overwhelming for starting out again because the games progress as if you have been there the whole time so the changes seem small to the community, but are light-years ahead for a return. Gw2 was fun for a couple weeks after I left NW, but was lonely as hell. Rift went the same... Ended up throwing a crap ton of hours into ark solo, had never got into that before. NW was easy to forget about.

Bless Unleashed? Is the MMO genre so dry that you have to include that?? Tried it and gotta say it didn't hold a candle to the other MMOs like GW2, ESO, FFXIV that I've played.

I cant believe I'm saying this, but thank god for comments!! My friends and I have been thinking about diving into an MMORPG and -- while the video was a neat introduction -- the comments are full of player experiences, info, and business strategies that are all worth considering.
