Keep in mind that in terms of raw power, trunks was more powerful than cell. Of course, he was never was going to hit cell in that form as it’s too slow.

I never understood how they didn’t make that form have strength but can’t tank hits as well that would be a perfect form to use if u want to tank ALOT of damage or be almost unfazed that would make up for the lack of speed and make this form super dangerous to the opponent

Akira should have made Trunks competitive against Cell after this transformation. This was too much a of a bad ass transformation to be thrown away like it was! Trunks should have put a good fight against Cell who would have been heavily suppressed and then he powers up more, win, and congratulates Trunks and lets him live so he can get stronger for the Cell games

As much as I love this transformation scene but using that form not worth it especially if you can’t hit your opponent I think trunks would’ve been better off trying to do what kakarot and gohan did staying in super Saiyan without actually using any energy

If I was Krillin I be scared too 😂! But sametime he knew Trunks wouldn’t harm him while he was powering up. But when he showed anger speaking about Vegeta to Krillin? It lets you know Krillin only knew the destruction of Vegeta and not his pride. Trunks learned about that from his mother in the future. Vegeta didn’t like nobody helping him in his battles, luckily when Buu came around it took him from fighting Goku (for selfish reasons) knocking him out unconscious wanting to be the hero to face Buu and destroying himself to destroy Buu. Coming back to earth with Baba, to help Goku destroy Buu once and for all to finally understand the way he went about himself and carrying on was pointless 💯! And that was the reason he never succeeded the way Goku did!

I feel that if he just let his pride go sooner with Goku? Im pretty sure Goku would’ve showed him ways to be stronger and techniques he learned from his masters. Hell Goku probably would’ve asked King Kai to train Vegeta. But he would’ve had to learn how to listen to someone stronger than him in order to. Thankfully I’m just glad Vegeta saw the light when he could. It’s easier said than done that holding grudges and anger can only get you but so far. .
