if you noticed trunks downgraded his ssj2 transformation into ssj grade 3 then he reverts back from that bulky form into normal ssj. Basically vegeta bullied ssj trunks with ssjblue. In the manga base vegeta and trunks sparred. Ssj2 vegeta alone beating base goku black and ssj(blonde) goku black.

This would be great in the manga or if they incorporate ssjb weakness in the anime where it can only be used for a very limited time and vegeta got the idea of quick transformation swap from trunks

I still cant wrap my head around how normal people/anything underneath a God form can go toe to toe with SSJB in terms of movement tracking and actually landing a hit.
