hope you start to feel fully recovered soon! btw that cotton swap product wasn't a serum. It was a chemical exfoliator. Glycolic Acid aka AHA. You also went red because it was 20% Glycolic which is a huge amount! Baring in mind a normal chemical exfoliate will usually have maximum 10% in. It's not bad....will just sting and go red like it did :)
