We know what the narcissist will do…belittle, name call, and be emotionally abusive. However, today I go over 6 things you won’t see a narcissist doing? Can a narcissist apologize? Will a narcissist apologize? Do narcissists only care for themselves? Those are all questions you have likely asked yourself when considering the narcissist and their actions. The answer is usually no, unless it benefits the narcissist. The narcissist control everything and when they can’t control they will enact one of their narcissistic punishment tactics. This can be blame shifting, the silent treatment, or narcissist rage. The narcissist silent treatment can be so distressing because they remove any opportunity for you to explain yourself. The narcissist will continue the silent treatment as long as they think they need to as a way to punish. Staying strong during the silent treatment is hard but it is a must so that you don’t continue to give power to the narcissist. Narcissist control everything and this is why they will never do some things. Listen for the 5 things narcissists will not do, but remember the 1 thing they will NEVER do.
