✨How to block Windows 11 upgrade and stay on Windows 10

✅Welcome to my new video!
If you have Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Pro installed on your computer or laptop, but you want to refuse to upgrade to Windows 11 and block it, then follow the step by step as in my video and we will do it together!
Every day in the Updates and Security window, we can see a message from Microsoft about updating to Windows 11, and if your PC does not support the new Windows, we constantly see a reminder of this.
To get rid of such intrusive ads, you need to make some changes in the registry editor of your Windows 10.
These changes will not affect the operation of the computer in any way, and your Windows will receive all other security updates from Microsoft in the usual way.
To cancel these settings - for this you need to delete along with the parameters.
If you found this helpful, please share my video with anyone!
Good luck!✅

When does no just mean no? Why do we have to go through all of this to get them to leave us alone?

Thanks man, I hate how Microsoft wants you to upgrade to their stinky Mac bootleg

Thanks. Windows 11 literally downloaded itself and was pending a restart to install without me choosing to do so! What a disgrace 😤

Thank you Malik. I am 79 years old, and the Windows 11 update fiasco has been driving me mad as my PC is not compatible with it. I do not want, and cannot afford to replace my equipment, and I have limited knowledge of computers. After much frustration, and deleting countless files from storage, I was getting nowhere. Then I came across your video. It was clear and concise, and I managed to follow and complete all the stages. The only difference is the 'red' message on the final page says; "Your device is missing important security and quality fixes"., and suggests that I 'Retry'. Çould you explain what this may mean please Malik, and should I Retry? Many thanks.

Thank you Malik - this worked. Stopped Windows 11 install and allowed other updates to continue.

Thank you Malik! It was driving me crazy being forced to upgrade! I have 11 on one of my laptops already and I am not a fan, and I wanted to keep 10 on my gaming laptop. I was afraid I was missing out on important updates by just stopping updates, so this is excellent!

Type: Registry Editor in the Windows Bar (right click/run as administrator if needed)
-HKEY LOCAL MACHINE, SOFTWARE, POLICIES, Microsoft, Windows,
-<Create a New Partition>, Key,
<Name it WindowsUpdate>,
- <right click then select DWORD(32bit)VALUE,
<name it> TargetReleaseVersion, <set the Value to 1>
- <Right click on TargetReleaseVersion and go to string value,
- name the setting TargetReleaseVersionInfo, Value to whatever the version number is in the "about" section of the windows bar ex:21H2

This was very clear and I appreciate the pauses that help us keep up with the process.

Amazing, thank you so much this video helped for me I was on 22H2, did a downgrade and win 11 was again downloading, I stopped it for 7 days all updates and then did this after reading forums for an hour and then found you. Great video, very clear and worked for me. After restart I resumed updates and it was good, saying all up to date and up in red saying some updates are managed by my organization, which is the thing with registry. Thumbs Up!

Awsome and very helpful tutorial, perfectly explained ( by spoon feeding.. 😉) - thanks a million! I really hated these annoying attempts to force me to update every other week..

But for a 64 bit my computer, do I have to put 32 bit?

If you accidentally hit yes to the upgrade you can stop it in it's tracks by disabling the TPM module in your BIOS. It'll see it's not there and stop the download. It'll then show up in windows update as "pending".

Latest Windows 10 updates are '22H2', but guess what? Windows 11 is also '22H2'. "Clever" folks at MS. I'm guessing if I code '22H2' then I'm gonna get Windows 11. No? As someone suggested, what if I create a key 'ProductVersion' and give it a value of 'Windows 10', do you know if that will keep me on Windows 10 and apply '22H2' updates?
