The "MR" in MR2 does not stand for Mid-Rear. It actually stands for "Midship Runabout" and the 2 means for 2 people. MR2 = Midship Runabout for 2. Ask Toyota.

The non turbos came with spoilers and fog lights too. The engine lid is the main give away. Only turbo models had the raised vent lids.

Heel/toe downshifting is freaking awesome! I learned about a year ago, and it makes setting a car up for a corner so much smoother :)
