The reason for the cut out is that Japanese rear plates must be bolted to a non removable part of the car, then have a seal placed on one of the bolts. That applies to all white number plate passenger cars……reason seem to be so that people can’t swap or steal plates, road tolls and taxes here are horrendous.

So stoked for this! Always brings joy to my heart to see these neglected Supras getting a new lease on life. Let's fix all of them!!

@tavarish I know it’s tough to get parts (long wait times, parts show up broken, etc.) but I feel like the channel just introduces projects then doesn’t film/ release the follow ups for months or years. I like the build along style of the Merci or Mclaren, etc. if it’s not possible due to sema contracts, or whatever (where you can’t reveal the finished product until the show, that’s fine, just tell us that in the video when you announce the project. I love the content, just curious about current builds and not constant new projects.

I'm honestly impressed with the amount of questionable/awful modifications. It's really kind of incredible.

It's always funny to see the 3000gt getting better storage care than most of the other cars

The remote control was the thing back in the 90s. I had one for my Alpine/JP stereo system. Instead of leaning forward to hit the button, you had a remote typically left in the cup holder that can do everything the buttons did on the unit. Kinda of a safety feature when you didn't want to take your eyes off the road. The remote I had consisted of six buttons. Disc change, skip forward and reverse, volume, and a power off.

I definitely like these types of videos best. Love seeing cars being put back onto the road.

Am I the only one that was very nervous when Freddy had his head inside the back hatch with that super sketchy prop? Especially when he talked about how heavy it was?

This will be the most expensive free thing you have ever gotten.

FYI the "easy pass" machine located on the side is a highway toll payment system (called an ETC). In Japan highways aren't free, so you insert your highway card into the slot and it automatically pays without you having to stop to pay manually.
The Japanese lady's voice when you turned on the car is telling you the card isn't inserted.

I’ve had a couple modified 4x4’s. The remote is nice when driving off road or on bumpy roads because the radio is bouncing and bucking around when you’re trying to change the thing…. It beats having to stop or slow down. I doubt that’s what the engineers intended it for, but works nice.

I’m hesitant to be as excited as I should be for this project bc this is such a huge dream car build and I’m not sure we will ever see it cross the finished line.

I like to imagine each of those switches to the left of the shifter deactivates a cylinder, cause why not

Yo Tavarish. Man I've been following your channel since you only had 20k subs. Great to see you crushing it bro.

You got a steal my friend. What I'd give to have a Supra. I fell in love with car, as everyone else probably did watching FnF.
Good luck on the build broski, definitely gonna keep and eye out for more content on this.

The reason behind the remote is for passengers to control without having to reach across the center console ‘for safety reasons’. Volvo used to do this with Built in Nav back in the early-mid 2k

All 93-96.5 JDM Supra’s had vinyl/pleather rear seats. Very few got factory leather upfront so the mismatched front/rear is pretty standard.

Around 10:25. Remotes for stereo head units are usually for sound competitions. At a certain decibel level you’re no longer allowed to stay in the car during the “run”
