No point of the blind test though - The camera modules give it away anyway!

25, 000 is adequate. 50, 000 should be the limit. Anything above that doesn't make your life better. A phone can't solve your problems, rather get didcated devices for other tasks.

even 20K phones will satisfy 70% of the consumers

0:24 Didn't know E-sim was a *flagship* feature. After some time, these people will also say that lack of headphone jack and expandable storage is also a flaship *feature*

One of the best videos. I wished u have added a 45-50k gstrgory as well.
However, I agree s24 ultra is exorbitantly expensive (bang for bucks) and a $400-500 phone can easily give you 90% of the features and satisfaction of using a flagship

This video idea is great. Hope you will do a version 2/season 2 some time in the future.
It would be great if you include more phones to represent more brands/budgets. And also, the blind tests could be done to some guests or people at a mall/public place who doesn't know much about tech/phones.

I've never thought about my career and future as much I've thought about which phone I should buy. This is coming from a person who just uses mobile for just calls and few good pictures sometimes.
I still couldn't decide on what to buy even after thinking for 6 to 7 months. Still using my 6year old vivo phone

Frankly if you need a phone for basic use like calls whatsapp browsing 20k should be the Max budget.
Whereas any phone under 60k would have almost 90% of features compared to its own flagship. If you have the money of course then paying 1.5 lakhs won't be an issue.

Personally I feel that anything between 30k-45k should be good enough for most people. Anyone who feels that this is lacking can go for the 60k-70k segment but people should always keep in mind that you should only for the higher segment if you can afford it. If you cannot afford it, do not even touch them.

I'd say get something with 120Hz AMOLED + SoC with 1M+ Antutu + >3 yr updates + reasonable build quality and waterproofing. 40-50K is the sweet spot if you're planning to use you phone for at least 4 years. If you're planning to use it for 3 yrs, 30-35K is the sweet spot. Anything beyond 50K is ridiculous, unless you need some specific flagship feature for productivity and generate income from it.

The best value for money phones are one year old flagship phones in my opinion. As they offer the best value of flagship in 40-50k segment

25-40k is the sweet spot right now, where with the Moto Edge, Poco F, and all the way to Samsung S FE series, you can get good performance, and nearly all flagship features.
But once you cross 40k, the features you get per extra 5k you spend starts decreasing.
I feel 60-80k for a true flagship can make sense. (if someone suggests me OnePlus12, I am gonna chase you with a pitchfork)

Many years back I switched from a flagship Mi phone to a budget Redmi. I realized that it is difficult to adjust since the quality in certain elements(camera, general performance) starts to drop. In the Android world, getting a flagship makes sense since you get updates, and even without updates the hardware/software will still hold up for the next 3-4 years. Even if the battery life takes a hit, you can change the battery and it will be as good as new.

So after you 4 years, when you choose to upgrade, the features get more recognizable. This is why reviewers should always compare new releases with releases from the previous gen since most flagship phones have already matured and year-on-year upgrades are pretty pointless.
