i used to be embarrassed by the cost of my makeup and i told my partner. his response: if you divide the cost down by the number of days that you will wear it, it's still less than I spend on coffee a day, don't feel bad, buy what makes you happy .

I've never worn makeup and I'm in awe of women (or people in general) who do wear it. They're like the most under-appreciated artists in the world, like they always know the exact colors to use and the right shape to draw and I just have to bow down to their greatness.
