In this video, Dr. Berg talks about the relationship between Potassium and Stomach Acid. Not having enough potassium could have difficulty making hydrochloric acid.

He also talks about how Potassium is critical in the stomach's ability to make acid (HCL). 4,700 mg/day of Potassium is needed for a healthy person.

After forty years of misdiagnoses and all of the drugs that I have been given, for problems that I didn't and never had, I have very little respect for doctors. In those years, I have had only one doctor that wasn't a rush job. Their real job is to get you through their office and get to the next patient, they call this production. But it's production of money not healthy people. Dr. Berg is one of the doctors that takes his time and he is sharing his time with all of us every day and I really appreciate it. My VA doctors would never tell you to get a good meal and what to eat and what not to eat, they just give their patients drugs. C. Jeff Dyrek, Disabled Vet.

I have been suffering for over a month with bad bloat and constipation. I watched Dr Berg last night and decided to take potassium. I am shocked that it fixed what was wrong and so fast. I had been reading everything I could find for help Thank God that Dr. Berg did this video. I will be sure to watch him first from now on Thanks Dr. Berg!

Easy fix for potassium deficiency. Potassium Cloride. Very similar to salt. In 1/4 teaspoon you get around 560 mg.

I am this person - never could digest red meat! I now after doing more potassium (thank you Dr. Berg) I am feeling a little better after eating my taco salad and last night I tried a steak. Interesting! Shout out to Karen! Have a beautiful Fall!

@Dr. Berg: could you do a video on TUDCA ? I used ACV for 2 years to help galbladder and liver issues but I found that TUDCA actually does a similar thing yet actually has the ability to regerate the liver much better. It increases bile production which helps fight of parasites and massively improves digestion and stool.

Thank you. I have to eat a banana a day. But I'll add a supplement for potassium now. A suggestion to anyone like myself having these digestion, gas and bloating issues- Do a salt water cleanse one morning and start fresh. Only eat easy simple healthy goods. That doesn't mean salads and cruciferous veggies. It means good on tummy items. Simple seasonings, not hot stuff or processed and no alcohol for a week. I felt better in 30 hours. No Coffee or coffee that works on the stomach -maybe low acid or eat a meal then drink your coffee. No carbonated beverages. I have barely any gas now, bloating 90 % down. Walk and stretch and get moving. Sometimes we forget the simplest things are what works... Then add in and go from there.

I got palpitations from low intracellular Potassium. Blood test tell only blood serum level.
Even after eating lots of salad, taking super green drinks still had it. I have had to supplement with Potassium to stop the palpitations. Been on the supplements now for a month and after 2 days of the supplement I have been free of the symptoms. I do Keto intermittent fasting.

dr eric berg, do you have a video a for the combination of magnesium and potassium?
i saw a study that indicates that sufficient amounts of magnesium is also crucial for absorbing potassium and efficiently replenishing the tissues.
