My name is Natalie and I'm from Manhattan. I had terrible tooth pain. The dentist told me it was not teeth. I went to the ENT, told me it was not an ear infection, and sent me for an MRI of the face and I was told that I actually had a broken nose. That's how I ended up here.

Well, I came in with my boyfriend who needed to be here because he wanted to know what was going on and why my nose was broken for so long. We pulled up my scans and we went over why I do have breathing problems and why I'm uncomfortable. I had a 95% blockage on one side of my nose due to the way the nose broke and healed.

We went through every step of the process from start to finish, answered all of our questions. I had shattered bone in the lining, scar tissue lining. Dr. Mourad ended up recommending a nasal reconstructive surgery, so I had my nose rebuilt.

I showed up at Gramercy Surgery Center and I was greeted very warmly there also. Their staff is wonderful. I took about an hour before I was put out and I woke up very confused. I asked what time it was and that's when I knew that I had been out for a while.

The first few days, I started to look worse than when I first came out of surgery. I woke up the second day and my eyes were completely black. Luckily, that dissipated very quickly. Dr. Mourad was very available via phone call, text. He checked on me after surgery, the day after. He called my boyfriend also to make sure I was okay.

I did have a lot of pain in the middle of the night, second day, and he answered the phone at 3:00 in the morning and called me in a prescription that I needed for nausea because the pain medicines did make me sick.

My first time in after surgery, I was very excited to come in, of course. The cast was going to come off. It was not painful at all. It just was a relief of pressure. From the time that they took everything off of my face, I was breathing better from there and it's only gotten better. I sleep better now. I'm able to exercise and get through a complete workout. Just feel 100% different. I have no tooth pain, no ear pain anymore, no facial pain. My allergies did get worse because I can breathe better, but that's a separate issue.

Dr. Mourad doesn't treat you like a client. He's not just turning out patients to make money. He actually does care about the outcome, about how you feel, and making you well. He's not a normal plastic surgeon.

I hope to treat my nose air passages. I think it's a deviated septum.
