Here are the first flight video and images captured by both the Mars helicopter and Perseverance Rovers on Mars when the helicopter made its first (and successful) controlled flight on Mars.

The flight took place on April 19, 2021, at 3:34 a.m. EDT (12:34 a.m. PDT) – 12:33 Local Mean Solar Time (Mars time). It climbed to its prescribed maximum altitude of 10 feet (3 meters) and hovered in a stable position for 30 seconds. Then the helicopter descended, touching back down on the Martian soil.

This flight proved that powered, controlled flight from the surface of another planet is possible.

it's really sad how most of the comments are people calling this fake, we are coming back to the dark ages.

🌎 It would have been awesome, if there was a plan to get this little 🚁 back to Earth someday, to display it in a museum for all the kids to see❗

We have a saying in Hindi somewhat translated as " Pots with half filled water make more noise", read "People with half knowledge make more noise" . For all those shouting Fake Fake in comments.

Почему нет пыли? И нет видео взлёта и посадки?

You'd think our tax dollars could have bought a decent video camera. Even the Wright brothers provided a fluid video of their 1st flight 118 years ago.
