The first images and data from the James Webb Space Telescope were released on 12 July 2022 and include the Carina Nebula, spectrum of the WASP-96 b exoplanet, the Southern Ring Nebula, the compact galaxy group Stephan’s Quintet and the galaxy cluster SMACS 0723.

I don't believe in a personal God, maybe Spinoza's and Einstein's take, but images like this and realizing the scope of The Universe is so mind-blowing and leads to a sort of mystical experience.

Question: Yes these photos are amazing, ...BUT, ... aren't they all 'colorized' by us humans ? Since they are originally Infra red waves, we have to color them to be visible, right . So, what IS their original, color, of the gases of Carina Nebula for instance ? Is it just all Black & White in space ?
