Thanks, Bill really makes us look good. Not only does he give us this incredible interview, but he also landed us the First Presbyterian Church Of Hollywood... showing us he has some producing skills as well.

This is great to hear from a person who is trying their hardest to come up the business and very encouraging and smart to look into if your very passionate about acting. I hope everyone and including Bill Oberst Jr. the best and give them all my luck for what's to come for their future.

Thank you Valentina. Glad to see you discover our conversation with Bill Oberst Jr. We also really love what he to share so we are thrilled to see others connecting with his words. Our channel grows a little day by day. You guys do great work at CineFix, we had a chance to visit when we interviewed Jack Perez. Please tell him we say hi. : )

this guy is one of the best prepared actors I've ever heard of--very few actors today have so much theatre training---wish you continued success Mr. Oberst---going to Hollywood is like Ranger school--many try out, only 1 in 4 make it

Keep in mind, he did all this work in LA before self-tapes were the standard of auditioning. That means, he had to go to in-person auditions like over 500 times in different places around LA to be able to book that many roles in the 4-5 years. Amazing!

I'm one of those few people who know who you are, and I'm glad you came to L.A. Bill! This is nice how you're sharing with other actors your words of wisdom here. I know you have worked your butt off to get where you're at now, and I can imagine it's been a tough road. Keep up the hard work, you're doing great!

This is really great advice. I'm loving your videos, it's a shame they're not more widespread.

I saw the one comment on here that satisfies. I am planning to move to L.A. at 36 years of age. No major film credits. No connections. Little stage back ground let alone T.V. But a thumb drive full of screenplays. I am going for the gold. No matter what. Either I will make it in the business or I will leave this world with a mark. If I can sleep on the streets of Atlanta because I made the mistake by just surviving and was able to get back on my feet I will make it in L.A. where I can be around like minds. There is no B plan. I am going to die doing this.

the late Ray Liotta who was well trained, said it took him 5 yrs. to launch his career in LA, he spent 3 yrs. in NYC in soap opera then came out

The recent pressure to unionize these part time jobs is going to make it impossible for these jobs to be part time for people to use for survival as they pursue their dreams.Every demand is instantly affecting something else in the Matrix.

you have to give acting your life, you must be sure you can make this sacrifice--it might mean losing kids, marriage, fin. security etc.
