You've thrown off the shackles of small-town life and have arrived in Los Angeles, City of Angels, ready to become a star—or at least a working actor. But once you've landed in L.A., what do you need to do? Find an acting class? Meet casting directors? Actually, the first thing you should do is much more simple and mundane than that, according to Backstage Expert and acting coach Anthony Meindl.

I like these videos a lot!! I hope they make a series for later-starting actors. For someone like me who has wanted to get into musical theatre for a long time but did not have the support/means to do so during college, I would like to see a series that would break down into all the basics for people who aren't able to pursue, say, a college degree or a performing arts high school etc. His advice is very honest and I would like to hear what advice he has for people who are starting their acting paths on a different route than the people who had support at a young age for it.
