note: you can also make some ME chests. makes it feel more visual and less digital...

it's good to have an ME chest on hand too. helps to troubleshoot why things are getting clogged up when you can visually see what's in each of those un-formatted segments.

plus its kinda nice to look into each ME chest and see all the glorious loot every once in a while, instead of searching through the crafting window. :p

You can use a fuzzy storage bus at your trashcan. It has more room for items.

I love this series, it is very well thought out and informative. If you decide you would rather keep the gear for enchantment stripping, you could try a fuzzy export bus to a filing cabinet for each type you want to keep. You can keep plain and enchanted items of the same type in the same filing cabinet. Bows might eventually give infinity, swords looting, boots feather falling, etc. I 'my sure you likely already knew this, but thought I'd mention it just in case.

For your long term dirt creation you should consider having your harvester shear leaves.

Voiding the mobs drops is about the only thing you can do, alternatively though if the proper mod is installed you can repair the armor and try to salvage the materials in them.  Only one I can think of is the alloy furnace from RedPower but that mod hasn't been updated for a long time.

My solution was to filter out the armors and bows and such before it hits the ME system.  Basically from grinder to itemduct with a servo, which filters by routing based on item (ignoring NBT data setting I believe), then into an ME interface.  You could easily throw cyclic assemblers into this too to recover the metal from the armors if you wanted to.

Shouldn't your Metals disc also have included the metal blocks? Since those are the ones your metal production is actually outputting and their potential storage is a lot greater.

I'm having the same problem with the MFR planters (i.e., they forget their filter setting each time I disconnect). Did you find any fix?

hey there. I am having problems with getting the armor and such to delete. I put it into the Fuzzy bus on a Trashcan and it does not go into there it just goes straight into the system (and I have tried even to hook up Itemducts with it and the items dont even go in there for some reason) can you help me?

You should use a fuzzy storage bus to void armor and tools. Much cheaper and one is enough =)
Also to keep your type-hogging items, use an advanced filing cabinet with a storage bus. Extremely simple to setup and mostly pain free. Only drawback is that in this pack you can only make the processors with the cutting knife and that can lead to issues with the filing cabinet once you have the MAC (and want to auto-craft the knife and processors).

Extra Utility Falling cabinet is what you use to store items that dont stack and have difrent demage, enchants or basicly meta data but same base item.
