Automated Resources - Episode 5 Season 2 - Agrarian Skies: Hardcore Quest

In this episode, I show off my new digs on the server,

Agrarian Skies: Hardcore Quest is a Minecraft gamepak by Jadedcat, available on the Feed the Beast launcher. As the sole survivor of a cataclysm you must rebuild and repopulate the planet while defeating minions of darkness that leak through from the nether realms. You start with nothing, and must create an entire world's worth of materials to reboot your civilization.

Forget everything you know about Minecraft. This no mere modpack, but a full-on gamepack. No vanilla tools. Starvation is a real threat. Food needs that cannot be solved by planting three wheat. Try not to die in a new way to play from the depths of Jadedcat's twisted mind. This world might not want you dead, but it will giggle like mad if you die.

Fun to watch - and I've never seen/used the item collectors - have to give it a shot. Also, you can make pistons, machine frames, pneumatic servos, buckets, and hoppers with aluminum to save the iron...

still learning stuff the 2nd time round, nice system for early game when resources are tight. It sounds like you are still having fun with the pack, I plan to restart soon and try all the new items like the packager, the pack has really taken off and you with it!

first saw your vids when you first started out agrarian skies, and now I notice that your voide still has the same minimal tremors in it. Are you still nervous or is this just your natural voice?

Have you consider slime channels instead of water for the sieves. I have a nice system using slime channels to push items from 16 sieves into a collector. The channels will stay in place without any surrounding blocks.

You can hook collectors up to itemducts directly. They will eject into the duct if there is somewhere for the item to go.

I find it better to have one activator on each sieve since the activators are the more expensive component, and you can tile them much more easily that way.

Are you sure the front of the aqueous accumulator counts as one of the sides touching water? because I've always thought it didn't...

What is the problem with itemducts and Chunks limits ? why di you have to press f9 to know this ?

Is there a minimum donation to get on the server because I can't watch the stream because of school and things.

I'm a few days behind watching these, but just as an aside it would be more efficient to set up your dirt production barrels with one input green, one red and one unmarked rather than the round robin - that way it prioritizes filling barrels before moving to the next . :)

purple you should have a better barrel storage system for all your items you can have storage buses on the back of them and have a me terminal to access all you r items if you shale choose this would be a cool way to store your items on Agarian Skies never seen it before plus don't forget to upgrade the barrels
