Im Ambivalent Alexithymic. I have Alexithymia. This Channel will be about that topic. I will be giving my insights as an Alexithymic person.

If you think you or someone you know has Alexithymia take the online tests in the links below! Alexithymia is NOT considered a disorder so its not in the DSM-5 aka not Diagnosable for medicine. These Tests are not Official for Diagnosis but its all we got! I personally took all 3 and scored High on them all and they are very accurate.

I found a search of youtube with " Emotion vs Feeling" to be and education stimulated in part by watching your videos. .
An abbreviation of part of my education would be something like this: Emotion=Immediate reaction to stimulus and short lived. Feeling=emotion+further perceptions lasts as long as you remember those perceptions. last as long as that cycle is in harmony.

This only scrapes the surface but then again most are unaware of any differentiation between emotion and feelings let alone recognizing to any great degree the difference between thought and emotion simply because they don't have to because they work well enough for them with out a need for further investigation.

One of the means of feeling good (maybe the only way) is being grateful. The problem we all face is we all inevitably start wanting more which immediately causes a degree of discomfort because we go from grateful for what we have to recognising a lack. This is inevitable because living requires movement.
The problem we all face is working out how to move through life balancing what we have with what we want, and that just one of the balancing acts we need to perform while blindfolded by our inevitable ignorance.

While a chemical introduced from out side the body can have short term benefits (and maybe the most suitable option) the body brain system must learn to balance. So ideally if balance can be achieved through thought and experience with the body producing the right chemicals this would be ideal.
Balancing "What is" with idea's :-)

This was a neat video. Thank you for talking and not just writing.
Until now I had never heard of someone becoming addicted to poppy seed muffins, although I guess I shouldn't be surprised, given that they are used to make opioids.
I wouldn't mind trying something.
