The Jedi High Council Did Not Always Lead The Jedi Order - Star Wars #Shorts

The Jedi Order was founded on Tython, with the High Council at its head. However, not all Jedi accepted their authority. During the time of the Old Republic, Jedi academies were spread across the galaxy, and Padawans often trained independently with their masters without the influence of an academy or the Jedi Council.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

The Great Sith War, four thousand years before the Rebellion Era, nearly wiped out the Jedi, prompting the need for a central authority. The Council revised the Jedi Code to unite the Order, but for three thousand years, many Jedi opposed these stricter rules, clashing with the Council’s goals and beliefs. Only after the New Sith Wars and the Jedi Order becoming a branch of the Republic’s Judicial Department did the High Council become the governing body for all Jedi Knights.

This makes the idea of many Jedi training their Padawans after the Battle of Endor and the Fall of the Empire more appealing. That means, that instead of trying to form a new Jedi Order, all the surving and new Jedi like Ezra, Kal, Ahsoka and Luke and even more can train their Padawans after their experiences and believes, which could lead to that more Jedi exist who are in their believes alot more like Grey Jedi like Qui Gon, and therefore a lot less fundamentalistic and fanatical and more willingly to help because they believe that it's the will of the force, which again would again bring the ballance in the force which was promised through the Prophecy.

The picture on the steps in the middle of the video reminds me of comic books and novel cover art in the 90s. I absolutely love it. Well, as absolutely as one can.

If I were to write myself into starwars I'd prefer if my master took me away from corusant cuz I'd be togruten so I'd prefer plants and earth rather than metal buildings and fumes and I'd frequently disagree with the council as a knight and a master the way they percive things is very flawed slavery should not be tolerated to hell with the senate any crime boss i came across I'd manipulate them into destroying themselves and each other iv done nothing but move the peices on the board the force decides the rest and I'll take the next one and the one after if I could I would investigate kraias teachings as u need the contrast powers like electric judgement of course should be used if necessary I could be friends with a sith if they would only talk and discuss the problems with both teachings and ways to resolve them somone like visis or lana baniko but somone like sidious or malgus I'd fight till the end to stop them permanently none of this jedi tolerance for evil if I get the chance I'd kill them

Wild that it took until Disney released High Republic to get a stable Jedi Order and Republic.
