In some aspects you also have to optimize the Windows 11 LTSC version TOO !!! It's not a boosted gaming version; it's still a Win11 version in every aspect, but without the bloat and without the permanent risk of all the other Win11 versions you have to deal with after every single update. I already have Win11 LTSC full version (no preview) installed on my PC, with a valid key. E.g. after the install I got some VisualC++ updates offered which I took for better and glitch free graphics performance. Win11 LTSC even has the usual Win11 Gaming Performance mod imbedded you can choose. Once more: Win11 LTSC is still Windows 11, not some gaming miracle version. You still have to optimize your system regarding performance, but with far less hassle around this subject like you have to deal with all other Windows 11 versions. And you'll always be save in the future after update cycles.

you got to keep i n mind that windows 11 ltsc is a preview version so the comparison is inconsistent and the windows 11 pro will always have something new every couple weeks or so and it will revert many optimisation you do and with time the ltsc version will be most lightweight and the most stable version we will get from microsoft ever

I just installed Ghost Spectre 11 on my new laptop along with a new SSD. I absolutely love the performance and battery life 😊

use case of LTSC would be suitable for Point of Sale system, Banking ATM machine, or just for internet surfing only... I don't think it is recommended for gaming with high graphic intensive, or for multimedia editing usage like photoshop or Adobe Premier... they strip down all the directX features from version 11/12 to version 10 which is why the OS experience is running very poorly

I use windows 10 LTSC to host my Jelly fin media server. It is a decent alternative to Linux in terms of stability and features while being less resource intensive than the mainline windows versions. Linux is still the gold standard for server os's though.

I'm noticing Microsoft has implemented countermeasures that block some
debloating methods from working properly.
Mainly starting in later 23h2 versions and up to pre release 24h2 .
Also, when you try using msmg toolkit it will block your
ability to uncheck main items you want to remove.

I like using memorys tool for the unattended xml file .
It still does an excellent job debloating.

Really useful comparison, thanks a lot. But can you show us all tricks that you used to optimize windows 11 and get better performance? Please don't skip nothing.

It would be very helpful if you could make a video on that.

pros of lTSC... 1. just boot it and youre ready no need of optimization
2. no risk of bricking the system with unnecessary windows features updates.
3. main one - support for 10 yrs (iot enterprise version)

1. the liscence key is hard to get and expensive . thats all, , you know ;)

The main problem with Windows 11 is datamining and copilot.

what if you optimize the LTSC version the same way you did with the pro edition kb!

Remember... Windows (10) Pro support ends in 2025, Windows (10) LTSC support ends in 2035

you want stable windows? go LTSC. you want latest and greatest with some bugs and new features introduced, home/pro.

want clean windows with long support? enterprise LTSC IoT

Windows uses GPU acceleration for some effects, I believe that's why you had a bad ux score for the ltsc.

I've been using ctt accept for a long time on desktops (until I started using a card reader regularly and no matter what I did, services decided to remain off after the script). On laptops though, man... AMD one had windows 10 first, 11 later. Intel one had 11 from the start. After applying the tweaks, both laptops exhibited the same issue - wasting battery when off. Intel one wasn't as bad as AMD, which would go from 100 to 0 in about 2 weeks. And yes, I disabled active standby rubbish they've introduced with windows 10. I want my computer to remain off when I turn it off.

11:43 If you want to KNOW why, read the book "Bill Gates et la saga de Microsoft" (by Daniel Ichbiah) Short story: MS made special agreements with the computer hardware (sellers first, but after) developers and brands. And it was just the starting point. It's continued and improved, even until these days. Just think about that: Xbox runs MS os, you even can run windows on it (with tricks) 'cause Xbox basicaly a VERY (weak and) barebone AMD x86_64 PC. Actualy way weaker, than any cheapest laptops what you can buy anywhere now in the shops. But... The OS and the programs/games runs better and faster than on a gaming PC. The newly upcoming AAA letters as well. Just compare once an Xbox hardware inside to a modern gaming PC once... Xbox has an integrated APU with some ram, some ssd, bluetooth chips etc (nothing special but necessary) It's like a TOY compare to a normal PC, even compare to an older PC. So this "job" was and is artifical by MS. Because MS and the Computer Hardware manufacturers and developers living in symbiosis since ~40 years at least (and Xbox also uses windows kernel, just like the "normal" PC's)
